Built in 1918 by Pullman in Lot #4530 as business car #30, assigned to the Director in February 1928, later unassigned, rebuilt in March 1969 to camera car #30, renumbered in July 1970 to #5009, renumbered again in January 1973 to #73. The #5009/#73 was damaged at an unknown date in a switching accident and was subsequently sold or donated to the Kansas City Railroad Museum in Belton, MO, and later moved to the Western Railroaders Hall of Fame & Museum in Cherryvale, KS. Scanned with an Epson V550 from an original Kodachrome 35mm slide. |
