Description: |
This was the first Milwaukee Road to carry the number 753 - later a Fairbanks Morse H12-44 would carry the same number. This loco was built by Milwaukee shops in 1909 as their L1 class Mikado. The original number was 8103 but renumbered later. It had 63" drivers, could develop 200 psi of boiler pressure to feed to the 24"x30" cylinders.
