Description: |
Beautifully prepared of its installation as a static display in Kay Rogers Park in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This loco was one of a group built by Alco-Schenectady in the summer of 1919 for the Pennsylvania RR who rejected them. Quite a few of them were re-assigned by the USRA to the Frisco. It served unti retiement in early 1952 and eventually donated to the city of Fort Smith for display. It now resides as an outdoor display at the Fort Smith Trolley Museum. Bill Corben photo. |
