Viewing Album:  CN Algoma Central Yard In Sault Ste Marie

Album Info:The CN Algoma Central Yard is much harder to view than the Huron Central's yard. The best way to view the yard is when the Agawa Canyon Train passes through the yard. The Train passes through twice on the trip at restricted speeds offering some good photo opportunities. All the photos in this album accept for the ACRI hopper were shot from the train. The yard held some cool stuff. AC 9609 and AC 10105 were the best finds of the day because that part of the yard is hard to see from the road and the park that borders the back side of the yard. The yard had some Algoma coaches hidden behind the locomotive shops. I was able to get one good shot of the cars. The motive power was strictly CN. AC 9609 was probably one of the last remaining Algoma Central Cabooses on the CN in Sault Ste Marie.
