Viewing Album:  Saratoga and North creek railroad: Passenger service in the Northern Hudson Valley

Album Info:photos from my September sunday the 16th trip to the Saratoga and North creek. Giving that we had no time restrictions,or any "running around" to do in saratoga, we decided to venture north following the Northbound "New York Express" from Saratoga springs junction to Thurman. After that, we were caught off guard with yet another Northbound that i had COMPLETELY forgot about which ended up being "The Adirondack Limited" which departed Saratoga for North creek at 12:25. After that, we would get one last shot of the Southbound "New York Express".

Description:  Being that we only had a few minuets by the time we arrived in saratoga, from when the train departed, we decided to just head to the one spot we knew. just north of Saratoga Junction.

Description:  i forgot that the SNC is famous for using a "Pull-Pull" system on their trains, so i wasnt expecting s2 #821 to be trailing, and since they were going so fast, as soon as i saw her i turned and shot, unfortunately i cut the foot steps off of the locomotive in the frame, ehh oh well.
