Album Info:The A&SV is a tourist line operating on former Rock Island tracks in and east of Abilene, KS. I've ridden on this train twice and can't wait to go again! Sometimes they have a diesel and some other times they use an ex-Santa Fe steam engine for the motive power. Enjoy.

Description:  The first time I saw this engine! This was a sunny Sunday afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised to see an Alco survivor these days. This engine is the primary power for the Abilene & Smoky Valley tourist line in Abilene, KS.
