Description:	The last rays of early spring sunlight are streaming through the trees as CP run-though X511 (Toronto Agincourt-Kansas City) is howling westbound at Run 8 ascending Salem Hill. He is blowing for the Currie Road crossing at miepost CH 31.5 of the CSX Plymouth Subdivision. The Spring Peepers are already making a racket by this time, temporarily shouted down by the passing of X511. After he has gone west the Peepers will be joined by the evening laughter of Robins.

Description:	This westbound Canadian National train passes through Swartz Creek, Michigan, 12-19-2004. The lead engine, #5692 is an SD75I. It's followed by a BNSF SD40-2 in BN colors. The last two are former CPRail SD40-2 engines! Description:	As CP took over operation of the D&H, it moved in its own power and operating people, but time was needed for the transition, so NYSW power was still common on many trains, now mixed with CP units. This MEBU is rolling under the NY 427 overpass at Chemung behind two of each to power its 90 cars.

Description:	The shorter days are making it harder to get the late afternoon shots, especially where there are buildings to block the sun. A just a little too late KL 1 comes into Binghamton behind a yellowjacket and a pair of CP units. It will wait here at the south end of Bevier St for BUAB to pass. Once it clears the Buffalo Runner, KL 1 will proceed to QD and the Tier.

Were looking down the former Erie through the west side of Binghamton-you can barely see CP Johnsons home signals in the distance.
