Description:  DUPX 8-axle tank car 29706 was on the Union Pacific (former Missouri Pacific and previously Texas & Pacific) at Addis, Louisiana in ethylene glycol service. It was one of 70 cars in the DuPont series 29700-29769 built by ACF in 1968. These 43,800-gallon cars was the largest single group of 8-axle tanks cars, and most were scrapped in 2009-2010, just after their 40th birthdays.
