SP GP9s Editors Pick!        
Three Southern Pacific GP9's (3627, 3557, and an unidentified unit) were westbound on the Louisville & Nashville, just west of the crossing with the Southern Railway at N.E. Tower. The train is a transfer run from the L&N's Gentilly Yard, on the east side of New Orleans, to the Espee's Avondale Yard on the west side of the Mississippi River.
