Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, on 24 June 1957. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #685, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as an H-8B during April of 1908, rebuilt as an H-8SB in May of 1915, rebuilt as an H-9S in May of 1926, and retired in October of 1958 after 50 years of faithful service. |
