CSS&SB Nippon Sharyo 24
CSS&SB 24 at the Randolph Street Station, Chicago, Illinois on May 23, 1985, photo by Chuck Zeiler. Number 24 was built by Nippon Sharyo in 1982 as second CSS&SB 24, later becoming NICD 24. Also seen is RTA F40PH 159 and ex-C&NW bi-level commuter coaches on loan to the CSS&SB. I put it in the Scenic Category on this site, because, to a city boy like me, this is scenic. Note the window washers (or maintenance crews, I'm not sure, but the guys on the left are sure screwing up) on the Prudential Building on the far right of the frame, part of the scenery, no extra charge.

Jeff Carlson General Hey, that's scenic to me too, esp. given the amount of color trackside. Interesting catch. 1/15/2011 11:30:55 AM
