MILW 1038 in 1954         
CMStP&P 4-6-0 Class G-8-a 419, built by Baldwin in August 1903 (c/n 22646) as Vulclain compound (15&25X28 cylinders, 62 inch drivers) as CM&StP number 419. Renumbered in December 1907 to CM&StP 1769, renumbered in September 1912 to CM&StP 4369, rebuilt to simple (22X28 cylinders, 63 inch drivers) in November 1924, reclassed G-8-a and renumbered CM&StP 2638. Renumbered in May 1938 to CMStP&P 1038, scrapped in March 1955.
