Could be a Manchester crew on that BQ23-7. Nice photo, Gary

Some CSX crew members told me they didn't like the BQ23-7s cause it didn't have a nose to help shield any impact in an event of a collision. I guess maybe why no other road order them.

My understanding is the Q stood for Quarters and that the cab held 4 crew members allowing the caboose to removed from the train. BN had GP50s with stretched cabs and shorter noses to allow cabooseless intermodal trains.
