CNW power was not common on the Tier. On the Chicago Line, youd see it fairly often on PXSE or NPSE, both connections off Union Pacific that used the Northwestern to bridge the gap from Fremont Neb to Chicago, with the power running through. These guys got lost somehow, and wound up on OIBU, stopped here at Owego to check for a hot journal on one of its 119 cars, the train having tripped the detector at MP 230.45 near Campville. Too bad it wasnt an hour earlier-the light would have been ideal!!
