| CN local crosses Givens Rd. as it heads northwest via former C&NW rails at Town of Hortonia, Outagamie Co., WI (about 200 ft. north of the current border of Hortonville) on 21 Feb. '18. I believe the facility partially visible at right used to be part of the large GripTite nail factory, but I am not certain (I remember, years ago, seeing a sign for a familiar brand of nails). I haven't learned when they moved out or changed names. The facility has been sub-divided and currently houses multiple businesses, including this portion used by Honey Bee Ware. The facility does not presently benefit from rail service, but it used to. |
