Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #295, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918 and retired in May of 1956 after 38 years of faithful service. It's rounding the Curve on its way down the Allegheny Mountains to Altoona to prepare for yet another passenger-helper run up "The Mountain." |
