Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6979, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works during September of 1926 and retired in June of 1959 after 33 years of faithful service. Partially visible on the left is a pair of "Decapods," one of which is #4497. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
