PRR 5893, EP-22, 1958         
MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by John Dziobko, Jr., that was taken near Duncannon, Pennsylvania, on 18 April 1958. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5893 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5893 was built in April of 1950. This A-A set will soon pass through the Duncannon Passenger Station with a mail & express train bound for Altoona and points West. ("Stoneborobranch"; #47 of 56)
