| NREX 7368 was the third or trailing unit on a westbound DME/ICE freight. The engines and part of the train are in Davenport, IA, but there's still more of the train in Rock Island, IL as the train crosses the "Government Bridge" between Davenport and Rock Island. As I understand it, that conical (?) concrete block visible at the center-bottom of the picture used to hold a signal for trains crossing the Gov't Bridge. |
