Amtrak P40 units 820 and 837 were leading train No. 1, the westbound SUNSET LIMITED, across the Pascagoula River on the CSX at Pascagoula, Mississippi. The train was discontinued east of New Orleans a few days before Hurricane Katrina struck this area on 29 August 2005, and service was never reinstated. (approximate date of photo) |
