Gulf, Mobile & Ohio train No. 33 had just crossed Bayou Liberty Road in Slidell, Louisiana. The train was on the main line of the Southern Railway for the last leg of its journey into New Orleans, behind GP35 606, GP38AC 728 and GP35 631. This was at the north end of WOODS siding, and the tracks on the right served a brickyard next to the main line and a couple of shipyards along Bayou Bonfouca. |
