| New Orleans Public Service ST. CHARLES LINE car 842 was outbound on St. Charles Avenue at Lee Circle. When this photo was taken only about 20 of the 800-series cars were still around, as most had been scrapped because many NOPSI streetcar lines were discontinued after WWII, and the 842 was scrapped in June 1957. |
