Caltrain 909 leads a southbound train through the S-curve at College Park. This curve, now the location of Caltrains CEMOF facility, was once the site of the Lenzen Avenue Roundhouse. This roundhouse served Southern Pacfic engines until the late 1980s. The roundhouse was demolished in the mid 1990s, and in the early 200s, Caltrain purchased the land for a new fleet maintenance facility, Caltrains Centralized Equipment Maintenance and Operations Facility (CEMOF). 800th image uploaded to rrpicturearchives.net. |
