This Huron and Eastern train arrives in Durand, Michigan in 2007. Lead locomotive #5086 is a C30-7 and trailing engine #5492 is a B30-7. Both are former Burlington Northern and are still in their green colors. They later worked for Central Michigan Railroad which operated a line between Midland, Bay City, Saginaw and Durand. This train served Dow Chemical in Midland, MI. Rail America’s Huron and Eastern Railway purchased Central Michigan Railroad in 2004. These engines have since been retired. Date approx.
