The Adirondack Railroad ran their very first public excursion to Tupper Lake, NY on Sunday October 16, 2022. This was the first time in almost 42 years that a regular scheduled passenger train went to Tupper Lake, NY. I rode on the train as a passenger with several other members of the Central New York Chapter N.R.H.S. and Adirondack Railroad. Many of these members I havent seen in months and years. The locomotives have just cleared the south runaround switch and will couple back onto the train for the return trip back to Utica. |
