Originally built in January of 1906 by ALCo-Cooke for the narrow gauge Istmian Canal Company (Panama Canal), it was sold to Equitable Equipment Company of New Orleans LA and converted to standard gauge. In August of 1922, it was again sold, this time to W.T. Carter & Brothers of Camden, TX as their #201. In 1929, it was resold to Moscow, Camden & San Augustine RR in Camden Texas. Eventually it ended up on the Eureka Springs & North Arkansas RR to head up their tourist train rides. Original specs - 54" drivers, 180 spi boiler pressure, 19x24" cylinders, engine wt of 131,000 and tractive effort of 24,548 lb.
