| The only CSX train anywhere close was a X511 that got permission to depart south as I was getting lunch at McDonalds. Trains move very slowly through Lima so I was able to get down to see it in time, but I decided with things being so slow that it wasnt worth my time to hang around the tracks anymore, so I decided to go home and watch Notre Dame play in the Sun Bowl against Oregon State. Notre Dame won that game 40-8 and the second half was nearly as boring as sitting beside dead railroad tracks. But, I do love college football and I do love Notre Dame, and since I had changed my plans last second I wasnt really up for watching trains the rest of the day anyway. I had already scheduled the second half of my Indy Line Adventure for the following week on Wednesday. Hopefully things will go smoothly! |
