BandA Fan General Yes, it was! I guess we should be thankful "Uncle Pete" hasn't YET pulled up the rails. SHHHH! I didn't say that! 5/25/2007 11:25:16 AM
David Albers General I still don't understand why UP found it necessary to close the Tennesee Pass line. Can anybody explain their logic to me? 10/18/2008 7:11:14 AM
C H General They said the grade was to steep and since the engines where getting bigger the tracks were to sharp for them, I think it is a bad choice, they should have just used sd40's, sd40-2's, sd40T-2's and locomotives like that for this, I would say this is one of the places that should have a tourist train that UP does with old DRGW, and SP locomotives 5/8/2010 9:55:20 PM
Magnum Vaughn General I don't believe Tennessee Pass has been formally abandoned. They can't pull up the rails unless they go through the process of paperwork. 10/16/2010 5:55:14 PM
