Northbound KCS Empty Coal Train
A Texas Utilities train passes MP 63 on the Pittsburg Sub. as it crawls to a stop. The crew got an approach signal at South Amsterdam, so they stopped to wait for a southbound to get into the siding so they wouldn't block crossings while sitting on the main.

David Mead General This is a different angle than we are used to seeing. I like the overhead approach and the fact the whole train is in this shot. In dull weather, it is always good to keep out the sky and you have used that theory well here. 12/9/2007 5:54:17 PM
Tristan Garrett General Didn't Kevin Farlow take a picture like this? Anyway, nice shot, but Kevin Farlow's was better. 12/14/2007 4:16:47 AM
George Redmond General Very nice overhead shot. 1/3/2008 9:15:16 PM
