Shown here are four Pennsylvania Railroad GG-1 (2-C-C-2) electric locomotives, all rated at 4,620 horsepower. Second from the left ~ painted tuscan red and producing all of that steam ~ is #4909, built in Juniata during December of 1941. Unfortunately, the road numbers of the other three GG-1's are not recorded. |

Partially visible at the bottom of the photo is New Haven Railroad engine #373, an EP-5 built by General Electric in 1954. The photographer's name and the exact date are not recorded. |
