Byerly. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken near Enola, Pennsylvania, in 1966. The photographer is not identified. Photo Caption: "Pennsylvania No. 4410, Class E-44, near Enola, Pa., 1966." Shown here (R to L) are PRR engine #4410 and another unit whose road number is not recorded. Both are E-44 (C-C) electrics built by General Electric and rated at 4,400 horsepower each. #4410 was constructed in April of 1961. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Electric Railroading ~ Penn Central and Pennsylvania Lines" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (868-9). |
