This fair quality, light leaked older b&w photo shows MILW 0-6-0 #1433 in an unkonwnyard with steam up and waiting for new orders. Built by the MILW Shops between 1903-13, it was renumbered in 1938 to 1433. Original specs - class I5-a, 51" drivers, 19x26" cylinders, 180 psi boiler pressure. No location or date was given for the photo so approximates were used. This is a Kruschke photo |

Looks like this little switcher may have reached the end of the line in the storage/scrap line at the Bensenville, IL, yard. Built by the Milwaukee Road Shops sometime between 1903-13, it was of service for nearly 30-40 years. The original number was chaged in 1938 to one in the 1400 series. Original specs - class I5-a, 51" drivers, 19x26" cylinders, 180 psi boiler pressure. This is an R. Donald Ross photo. |
